Control Unit For Fuel Pump (EKPS), Vemo - F10, F13, F02, F25

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 16147276073 and is described as Control Unit For Fuel Pump (EKPS). This module receives signals from the engine computer and adjusts power to the fuel pump to regulate output. It's an electronic version of the older fuel pressure regulator but is also able to vary the pump and system pressure. A failed control module will cause hard starting, stalling, rough running, or low power. A new module must be coded to the car with BMW diagnostic software.
