Fitment Notes: 
On E46 325i/330i (RWD) models, this fits only the 2001 model year only. The 2002 and later RWD 325i and 330i use part # 16137193479. This date split applies only to 2001 year 325i/330i models. 

Fits all AWD 325xi/330xi (2001-2005) and all E46 M3 (2001-2006). 

What is the DTML Pump and what does it do?
A leak diagnosis is used in the emissions system to detect fuel vapor leaks in the fuel system. This pump carries out the test for the engine control unit (computer). A failed pump will set a check engine light and a fault code in the system, preventing you from passing emissions inspection.

This is a Genuine BMW DTML pump, and not an aftermarket or OEM  unit. As the authentic BMW part, you can be sure it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. This part has a two year warranty.
