Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT), Hella - E36, E39, E60, X3, X5, Z3, Z4

This is the intake air temp sensor (IAT sensor) that sends intake temperature data to the ECU so it can correct for abnormally high or low intake temps. It's typically located in the intake manifold but may be in the airbox assembly on some models. This sensor is critical for peak engine performance and fuel economy.
