The KW DDC coilover kit is part of KW’s iSuspension program - their “intelligent” suspension solution using adaptive and dynamic control of damping levels. Coilovers used to be convenient with knobs and dials, but the new Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) Plug and Play (P&P) coilovers take that convenience to the next level! All of the factory displays and controls remain fully functional but you get a completely new driving experience!
Electronically-adjustable dampers are now standard or optional on almost all models. However, even BMW factory systems are designed for a particular set of compromises. KW’s DDC P&P kit replaces the compromised stock settings and gives you the performance suspension your car deserves and the adjustability you want.
KW developed a seamless system that allows you to use your BMW factory interior EDC controls to dial in your KW DDC P&P coilovers. The plug-and-play nature of this setup means that it installs with extreme ease with no need to modify the stock wiring or run new cables or wires through the interior. The KW dampers and electronics are a 1:1 swap with your stock components. Once installed you simply use your factory controls for the new high-performance KW dampers. The height adjustment is performed just like any other coil over kit with one-piece composite height adjusters on the front dampers and height adjusters sitting either above or below the rear springs.
Like all KW suspensions, DDC kits are made with stainless steel shock and strut housings and composite hardware. The trapezoid thread and composite collar are resistant to dirt and corrosion allowing easier height adjustments even after years of use. KW even includes a lifetime warranty.
