Front Strut Mount, Meyle - E82 E90 E60 E63 X3

Front struts/shocks on the E82 128i/135i, E90/E92 325i/328i/330i/335i (not Xi models), E60 525i/528i/530i/535i/545i/550i (including Xi models), E63 645ci/650i, and E83 X3 are mounted to the chassis with this front upper strut mount. It's a dense rubber mount that also incorporates a bearing that allows the strut to rotate as the steering changes. Over time the rubber breaks down and the bearing wears out and the entire mount should be replaced.

This part is manufactured by an aftermarket supplier of European auto parts, including many suspension components. While not carrying OEM status, this part follows the design of the original very closely and uses similar materials. An aftermarket part may even have the same TUV approval as its OEM counterpart. The brand may even be OEM to another manufacturer besides BMW. This aftermarket brand has a two year warranty - the same as Genuine BMW and OEM brands.
