Powerflex front control arm bushings for G29 Z4 and Supra A90/GR eliminate the original pliable rubber bushings and replace them with stiffer and longer-lasting urethane. This design has an eccentric offset orientation to give some camber adjustment.
G29 / Supra Powerflex bushings use a stronger and more durable urethane material that not only improves steering response and handling but lasts longer than the stock rubber bushings. When the stock rubber bushings lose their strength you end up with vague steering, poor steering feedback, clunking noises, and vibrations. Urethane is a stiffer material that does a better job of controlling suspension movements but is still soft enough to cushion bumps and impacts.
Powerflex has extensive experience in automotive suspension and chassis systems and has combined these skills with advanced polyurethane manufacturing techniques. Durometer is standardized per fitment and location, so you can rest assured knowing the design engineers have selected the optimal urethane hardness for this specific part.
Powerflex copper-based grease is supplied with every bushing set, and they will rarely need re-lubing due to the unique design features built into the material to hold the lubricant.
