Rear Lower Ball Joint, Lemforder - F10 5-series, F06/F12/F13 6-series, F01/F02 7-series

This bushing mounts the lower control arm to the wheel carrier/wheel hub (BMW calls it a swing arm). Also known as the "Ball Joint" in diagrams. This bushing has a Teflon-lined spherical bearing inside with rubber boots on the outside to keep dust and debris out and keep the grease in. This is one of the few serviceable bushings in the rear control arm (the rest require complete replacement of the suspension arm). Sold per bushing. BMW recommends replacing the snap retaining ring at the same time (see Related Items below).

This is an OEM ball joint manufactured by Lemforder - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other bushings and mounts. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
