Front Left Control Arm, BMW - G05 X5, G06 X6, G07 X7

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 31106878081 (31 10 6 878 081) and is described as the left front control arm for all 2019+ G05 X5, G06 X6, and G07 X7 SUV models. This is the lower rear control arm with two bushings and the outer ball joint.

The lower control arm is key to the great driving characteristics of your BMW. Both bushings and the ball joint are subject to wear and develop excessive play and loose tolerances. When any joint becomes too worn it will ruin the driving experience and possibly cause a suspension failure. We always recommend checking both inner and outer bushings along with the upper control arm (tension strut) when diagnosing issues. Control arms should be replaced in pairs to maintain even and expected performance and feedback.

Note that new hardware is called for by BMW. The original bolts are torqued and then tightened further to stretch the bolt. The bolt should not be re-used if tightened with the factory procedure. See Related Items below for new hardware.
