This is the base control arm so it's not intended for cars with optional M Sport package. If you wanted a little more responsive steering and handling, the M Sport arm can be installed as a factory-engineered upgrade.

The wishbone (aka lower control arm) is key to the great driving characteristics of your BMW. The inner bushing naturally wears prematurely and the outer ball joint will also wear and develop play. When either becomes too worn it will ruin the driving experience and possibly cause a suspension failure. We always recommend checking both inner and outer bushings along with the upper control arm (thrust arm) when diagnosing issues.
