Rear Trailing Arm, Genuine BMW - E82 (incl 1M), E9X (incl M3)

The trailing arm is the black stamped sheetmetal arm at the bottom of the rear suspension on all E82, E88, E90, E91, E92, E93, and E84 X1 models. The trailing arm is designed to be the weakest link in the suspension, to absorb impacts and deform so that something more important is not damaged. Left and Right side take the same part.

Inner and outer bushings are sold separately (see below).

This is a Genuine BMW E82/E9X lower trailing arm with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
