Front Left Upper Control Arm (Thrust Rod) - E28, E24 without Bushing

The Left Thrust Rod (left upper control arm) on your E24 6-Series or E28 5-Series is designed to incorporates a large, soft bushing (not included) that which removes vibration normally transmitted through the steering system while still doing a decent job at controlling loads from the tire. 

Please note: This upper control arm is for all 1982-1988 5 series, and 6 series from 1983 through 1989. Not for 6 series before the 1983 model year. 

This left upper control arm comes without a bushing, so bushings must be purchased separately. For even better handling and performance, with minimal impact on ride comfort, we recommend Powerflex polyurethane bushings as an upgrade.

This is a Genuine BMW thrust rod with a two year warranty. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity. It will also be the very latest design, incorporating any updates or revisions that an aftermarket brand typically will ignore.
