Adjustable E36 rear sway bar links are used to adjust the clearance between the sway bar and the rear axle shaft on all 1992-1999 E36 model BMWs. This includes E36 M3, 328i, 328is, 325i, 328is, 323is, 318i, and 318is models.
The stock E36 sway bar link does not allow any adjustment and the bar and axle may come in contact with each other under certain circumstances (Note: contact that happens with the suspension at full droop, such as on a lift, is not a cause for concern). These links are made by Ground Control and feature Heim joints at both ends.
Unlike other links that use urethane at one end, this Ground Control E36 links use proper Heim joints at both ends of the links. A Heim joints allows greater freedom of motion, and will not bind like the urethane. This makes them the better choice for extreme suspension setups such as those used for racing, autocross, or time trials. If you are looking for a pure street option adjustable rear sway bar link, the urethane E36 links, such as the ones we sell from Hotchkis, will last longer and be quieter on the street. The links have plenty of adjustment to properly set the sway bar position. Remember to make the adjustments with the tires on the ground at your desired ride height. All hardware and bearing spacers are included. These links work with most aftermarket sway bars on the market.
Price is for the pair. Two links are included, enough for one car.
