Front Left OEM Strut, Sachs - E46 323i/325i/328i/330i non-Sport -4/01

This E46 323i/325i/328i/330i front strut is a direct replacement for the original. Sachs is an original equipment supplier to BMW for shocks, struts, and mounts so this is a direct replacement to restore the original ride comfort and handling. While we offer other shock brands that are more performance-oriented, if you prefer the original BMW ride and handling this is the best choice. Note: this shock is not recommended if you have shorter springs installed.

Front struts should be replaced in pairs so order a left and a right. New mounts, dust boots, spring pads, and bump stops are sold separately. This part number replaces original BMW part number 31316759561.

Application Note: front struts for E46 non-M RWD are mostly interchangeable. BMW will show different part numbers but the actual specs are very close. When replacing one strut at a time you should inspect the original strut for part numbers and try to order the same number. This is to avoid minor differences in length and pressure. We would always encourage you to replace struts in pairs to avoid different specs and handling behavior.
