Power Steering Hose 16x22mm (1 Meter) - E30 E12 E28 E24 E23

This original BMW 16x22mm power steering hose is sold in 1 meter increments, and is the exact replacement hose for connecting the reservoir to your power steering pump on many BMWs including the E30 3-series (1984, 1985, 1986, 1987), E12 and E28 5-Series (1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988), E24 6-series (1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1892, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988), and E23 7-series (1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1892, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987).

E30 3-Series: Only for model years 1984-1987.

Be sure to check your model year or production date to make sure it matches those listed above. BMW started and stopped using this size PS hose on a few of the chassis it was used on. It is designed to be cut to length for your specific BMW application, making it a somewhat universal hose.

This hose has a 22mm OD (outer diameter) and a 16mm ID (inner diameter).

This hose supplies the power steering pump with fluid from the reservoir. BMW calls it an "intake manifold" or "suction pipe". The hose can also swell over time, causing a leak, and the hose must be replaced. A crimped hose clamp was originally used but this can expand and cause an PS fluid leak as well. We recommend a 18-24mm premium hose clamp instead.
