Powerflex Urethane Front Sway Bar Bushings, 25mm - E39 525i/528i/530i M Sport II

Polyurethane sway bar bushings for the E39 525i/528i/530i M Sport II replace the loose and spongy stock rubber 25mm bushings. The urethane bushings hold up better than rubber, which become more pliable over time. This causes the sway bar to lose its effectiveness. Urethane bushings will help restore precision and rigidity to the swaybar mounts and make the anti-roll bar perform better. All Powerflex bushings are a truly engineered part - not simply produced from a mold of the stock bushing. Powerflex engineers choose the appropriate urethane hardness to allow for the correct suspension motion and rigidity required for each component while minimizing unwanted Noise, Vibration, or Harshness. Street or Track?
As the names suggest, one bushing is designed for street use and one is strongly suggested only for race track use. Both bushings are an improvement over stock with a stiffer material and less deflection. Both Street and Track bushings include a lifetime warranty. Street bushings are 25-30% stiffer than stock and designed for the majority of performance drivers with the occasional track event. Track bushings are as much as 80% stiffer than stock, greatly reducing compliance and comfort, but providing minimal deflection and alignment change. Track bushings are aimed at a much smaller group of enthusiasts who only use their vehicles on smooth race track surfaces.
