This velcro strap was used to hold down items in the "break down" kit in the trunk of the 2001-2006 E46 M3. It was also used on the 2001-2002 Z3 M models, which had the M Mobility kit -- an emergency tire replair and inflation tool. This velcor strap helped keep these trunk items secure when stowed.
