This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 36131180626 (36 13 1 180 626) and is described as Genuine BMW Wheels Hub Cap Wrench, used on some BBS model wheels such as the Style 5, Style 101, and other BBS cross spoke and basket-weave design wheels. It's also used on some VW fitment BBS wheels, and other non-BMW models. 

This hexagon shaped tool is a must if you have one of the BBS wheels with the special 6-side hubcap. These hub caps and wheels are getting hard to come by, so scratching one up using the wrong tool seems pretty silly - especially when the new Genuine BMW hub cap tool is still available.
