Genuine BMW TPMS tire pressure sensor with valve stem for G42, G20 3-series and G29 Z4 models. The iDrive and On Board Computer relies on these sensors in each wheel to determine if a tire is losing air. With a failing sensor, or no sensor at all, iDrive will display low tire pressure warnings that may be hard to clear.

If you're mounting up a set of wheels and tires for the above BMW chassis vehicles, you'll want a set of 4 of these sensors to make sure your BMW senses the tire pressure and temperature at each of the 4 corners of the car. If you don't, your car will trigger TPMS faults and indicators on your dash and iDrive systems. TPMS sensors are shipped in a "sleep mode" to save battery life. After installing and inflating tire to proper pressure, wait a minimum of four minutes to sync the new sensor to the vehicle. The low tire pressure warning may still display until the TPMS system is reset through iDrive or the BC button on the turn signal stalk.
