This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11128644675 (11 12 8 644 675) and is described as a set of 10 Torx head bolts for B46 and S58 engines. The B46 engine takes all ten bolts in this set. The S58 engine takes 14 bolts total - buy two sets or buy individual bolts (see Related Items below).

New head bolts are required any time the head bolts have been loosened or removed for any reason. They stretch when properly tightened so re-using them again will not tighten the head and gasket all the way. These are stock replacement head bolts, for cars with stock compression. For forced induction, or any car that has the head removed on a regular basis, we strongly recommend an ARP Head Stud Kit. ARP head studs are re-usable and stronger. But for a street car or daily driven car these stock replacement bolts are the recommendation.

This is an OEM head bolt manufactured by Elring - the original supplier to BMW for this part, as well as many other bolts, hardware, and gaskets. As the OEM it meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements and is TUV approved. OEM parts are the best alternative to more expensive Original BMW parts because they are virtually identical without the inflated price tag. This part has a two year warranty.
