The N55 single-turbo engine uses a serpentine drive belt to operate the steering pump, AC compressor, and alternator. This belt, along with the tensioner and pulleys, should be replaced every 80,000 miles. This kit fits F07 535i GT, 535ix GT (2011-2017), F10 535i, 535ix (2012-2016), F06/F12/F13 640i, 640ix (2013-2019), E70 X5 35i (2011-2013), and E71 X5 35i N55 (2011-2014).

Only for cars with Adaptive suspension (code 7SZ) OR Dynamic suspension (2VP) OR Active steering (217)*. If you have any one of these three options this is the correct belt kit. If you have none of these options this is not the correct belt kit (see our “base” kit).
*Fitment Exception: all F10 535iX xDrive sedan and 2011-2012 F07 535i/ix GT models all use this belt service kit, with or without Adaptive Drive.
This kit is similar to BMW Value Line belt overhaul kit part number 11282449733 (11 28 2 449 733) but includes fewer parts that may not need to be replaced anyway.
