Sylvania LED 12v 5W 6418 Festoon Light Bulb - 63217160805

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 63217160805 (63 21 7 160 805) and is described as Sylvania LED 12v/5W Festoon Lighting Bulb, used on various BMWs for different applications. This bulb is commonly used in interior dome light, reading light, cabin light, or license plate lamp assemblies, and often referred to as a 6418 bulb, which is the universal bulb size equivalent. Please note there are several sizes and wattages on these festoon style cylinder shaped bulbs. Be sure to check your current size. 

This bulb is compatible with 12 volt and 5 watt size, but puts out a much brighter and whiter LED light. If you have a standard 6418 bulb you would like to "kick it up a notch" and give a brighter, more modern look, this LED bulb can help you accomplish that. 

You'll find this bulb in different places on BMWs dating back to the 1950's Isetta, through more modern "E' chassis BMWs. Some of the chassis this bulb is used in at least one or more positions include:

Please note: Individual use and application of this bulb varies by BMW model. Many of the newer BMWs do NOT use this style bulb anymore. If your chassis is not listed above, it most likely isn't used on your BMW.
